RePurposed - Courage of the Commonplace
Inspiration: I love reusing things. When paper was scare in the 30's people, including my family, would use old books that were of no use any more and paste recipes in them to create family recipe books. When I found the book The Courage of the Commonplace I fell in love with the title. Isn't that what each of our kitchens is; the Commonplace? For me, it is where I found my courage as well. The courage to try new things, the courage to collect with unabandon, and the courage to do this project. This book was inspired by the book itself and all its contents ate pasted in just like the 1937 State Store price list.
