Sheet Pans
Inspiration: I love to cook. I love to bake. For me it is a rhythmic, calming dance. It is physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual for me. I loved baking with my mother. I am not sure why. She rarely let me do anything besides measure this or that which she double checked anyway. But I always got to lick the bowl and taste the first results hot out of the oven. It recently occurred to me that she was not selfish or judgmental of my skills but rather perhaps she used baking as relief the same way as I do now. These are her sheet pans filled with her old parchment paper, and bound with baking twine.
