Rags & Remnants
Remnants of rags and fabric; tattered and past their usefullness, are my material of choice for this work. Collected from friends, family and my own stash, I listen to stories of why they were saved rather than discarded then, with simple thread, I expose that which exists within each of them beyond utility.
Created during the first year of COVID as part of a mindful examination of the powerful memory single objects hold.
